About Us

_{Andrew and Alice have been at Anstey Grove Barn for over 25 years, raising a family and running a farm in the heart of rural Hertfordshire.} 

_{In 1980 they bought a working pig farm with 20 acres of land and began to build a family home.  Within months the house was built, and within years a broadleaf wood was planted and wildflower meadow cultivated that have now come to be protected by the Hertfordshire Wildlife Trust.}

_{The working pig farm has now gone, but the wood, meadows, flock of free range hens and horses remain .}

^{In 2004 Alice and Andrew decided to convert the large Barn at the heart of the farm and create high quality bed and breakfast accomodation.  Their intention has always been to provide a homely base from which families, couples and those just passing through can enjoy a break in the countryside exactly how they want to.}

^{The Barn has been specifically converted to contain a large open fire in the lounge area, a garden for barbeques, boules or just relaxing, as well as the en- suite accomodation itself.  And of course, there's the woodland and meadows on the farm land to explore before you even venture out for walks or the wealth of local pubs!}
